The Booklink mobile app is in an invite-only beta. If you use it, the app can send push notifications to your phone, and the web app lets you choose which ones you get and see every phone or tablet signed in to your login. Both settings are personal: each user on your account has their own.
Choosing your push notifications
Go to Messages in the sidebar and find the Push notifications card. Tick the events you want the app to alert you about:
- New bookings
- Cancellations by clients
- Reschedules by clients
- Payments received
- Waitlist joins
- New enrollments
Then click Save. Your choices only change your own notifications, not anyone else's on the account.
Keeping client names off your lock screen
Show client names and services decides how much a notification says. When it is off, notifications say a booking changed without naming the client, which suits a phone that others can see. Open the app to see the details.
Signed-in devices
Go to Account in the sidebar and find the Signed-in devices card. It lists every phone and tablet signed in to the Booklink app with your login, with when it was last active and its app version. Every user sees this card for their own login, even without access to the rest of the Account page.
Click Sign out next to a device to sign it out of the app. Use this when a phone is lost, sold or handed to someone else. The device is signed out of your login and has to sign in again before it can be used.
Email and WhatsApp alerts are separate
Push notifications only go to the app. Booking notification emails are set under Email Notifications on the same Messages page, and WhatsApp new booking alerts under WhatsApp Channels. See Auto-confirm and reminders and WhatsApp notifications.
