Using a package on a booking

Use a session from a client's package when you book them in, apply a package to a booking they already made, and return a session when you cancel.

Last updated

When a client with a package books by phone, or books on your page and pays nothing yet, you can take the session from their package yourself. The booking is then marked as paid with a package.

Booking a client in with their package

In the New Booking window, once you have chosen the client and the service, a Payment choice lists their packages that cover that service and option, as Package: with the name and sessions left. If exactly one fits, it is chosen for you. Using a package marks the booking as paid and uses one session from it. The price and coupon fields are hidden, because the package already paid.

For a group session, open the client's page and choose Add booking, then Group session. The same Payment choice uses one session per spot.

Only active, unexpired packages with sessions left are offered. A package covers one service, so it is not offered on a booking with several services.

Applying a package to an existing booking

Open the booking. If the client holds a package that covers it, an Apply package button appears. Choose the package and click Apply package. The booking is marked as paid with one session (or one per spot) from the package. If the booking was pending while waiting for payment, it is confirmed and the client is notified.

A package cannot be applied to a cancelled booking, a booking that is already paid, a booking with several services or a program booking.

On the booking

A booking paid with a package shows a Package payment badge and a Package row with the package name and the sessions left, linked to the package.

Cancelling a package booking

When you cancel a booking paid with a package, the cancel window has Return the session to the client's package, ticked by default. Untick it to keep the session used, for example after a no show. Cancelling a whole group session always returns the sessions to the clients' packages.

See a client's packages

The client's page has a Packages card with each package they hold, the sessions left, the expiry date and whether it is active, expired or cancelled.
