Creating a session package

Sell several sessions of one offering together, such as 10 sessions for R5000, with an optional expiry. Set up the package and choose where it shows.

Last updated

A session package bundles several sessions of one offering into one purchase, for example 10 Pilates classes or 5 massages. Clients pay once, then book their sessions over time with their own package link. You can sell packages yourself, and clients can buy them on your booking page. Session packages are a Pro feature.

Creating a package

  1. 1

    Open Packages

    Go to Packages in the Manage section of the sidebar and click New package.
  2. 2

    Name and describe it

    Enter a Name, for example "10-Session Pack", and optionally a Description, which clients see when they buy it.
  3. 3

    Choose what it covers

    Pick the Service and, if it has several, the Option. A package covers one option of one offering. Programs cannot be sold as packages.
  4. 4

    Set the sessions, price and expiry

    Enter the number of Sessions (1 to 1000) and the Price for the whole package. Under Valid for (months), set how long the client has to use their sessions, counted from the day they buy, up to 120 months. Use 0 for no expiry.
  5. 5

    Create it

    Leave Hidden from booking page off to show the package on your booking page, or switch it on to sell it only yourself. Click Create. The package opens on its own page, active straight away.

The package page

The Details tab holds the same fields, plus an Images card for up to five photos (see Images on offerings and packages). The Sold tab lists everyone who bought it; the number in brackets is how many have been sold.

Once a package has been sold, editing it only changes future sales. Clients who already bought it keep the sessions, price and expiry they paid for.

At the top of the page you find:

  • Active: switch it off to stop selling the package for now.
  • Visibility: Shown on booking page, Hidden, direct link only (off the list, but anyone with the link can buy it) or Hidden (only you can sell it).
  • Copy booking link: copies a link that opens your booking page with this package ready to buy.
  • Sell package: sell it to a client yourself. See Selling a package.

When a package does not show on your booking page

If clients cannot buy a package online, the package page says why. A package only shows on your booking page when:

  • your account is on Pro;
  • a payment gateway that supports package sales is connected: Yoco, Paystack, iKhokha, or PayFast with a passphrase set;
  • the package is active and not hidden;
  • it has a price above R0;
  • its offering is active and not hidden, and the option it covers still exists.

You can still sell a package yourself when it is not on your booking page.

Show the saving

On your booking page, a package priced below the offering's normal price times the number of sessions shows the price per session and a "Save" amount, so clients see the value straight away.

Taking a package off sale

To stop selling a package, hide it, switch it to inactive or delete it. Each works differently for clients who already bought it. See Removing a package: deactivate, hide or delete.
