When someone finds your business on Google Search or Google Maps, your Business Profile can show a "Book online" button. Google does not create that button by itself. You paste your Booklink booking link into your profile once, and from then on the button sends clients straight to your booking page.
Before you start
You need two things:
- A verified Google Business Profile for your business. If you do not have one yet, create it at business.google.com and complete verification first.
- Your Booklink booking link. Open Branding in the sidebar and copy it from the Booking link card. It looks like
https://bklnk.co.za/your-slug.
Adding the link
- 1
Open your Business Profile
Sign in to Google with the account that manages your business, then search for your business name on Google, or go to business.google.com. Your profile controls appear above the search results.
- 2
Choose Edit profile
In the profile controls, select Edit profile. On the Business information screen, look for Booking, Appointment links, or Appointments. Google moves this around from time to time, so scroll if you do not see it right away.
- 3
Paste your booking link
Paste the Booklink link you copied from Branding into the appointment link field. Use the full address including
https://. If Google offers a list of booking providers, skip it and use the link field instead. - 4
Save
Select Save. Google may show the link as pending for a short while. When it is live, a Book online button appears on your listing in Search and Maps. Open your own listing to check it.
It can take a while to show
Google reviews profile edits before publishing them. A new booking link usually appears within a day, sometimes sooner. If it still has not shown after a few days, open Edit profile again and check that the link saved correctly.Send clients to one service
The main link shows everything you offer. If you would rather the Google button open a specific service, paste a service booking link instead. Copy one from the Offerings page. See Service booking links for details.Keep the link current
If you change your slug under Branding, your old booking link stops working. Update the appointment link on your Business Profile at the same time, or the Google button leads clients to a dead page.
