Embed Booklink on Your Website

Put your booking flow on your own website, inline on a page or behind a Book now button, using the snippets from Settings.

Last updated

Your booking page works on its own link, and it can also live inside your own website. Booklink gives you three ready made snippets: an inline embed that shows the whole flow on a page, a Book now button that opens the flow in a popup, and a plain iframe for site builders that block scripts. Bookings made on your site land in Booklink exactly like bookings from your link.

Where to find the snippets

Open Settings and choose Embed. Each snippet has a Copy button. The page also shows a live preview of the inline embed so you can see what visitors will see.

Inline or popup

Inline places the booking flow directly on a page, for example a Bookings page on your site. The frame grows and shrinks to fit each step, so there is no inner scrollbar. Confirmation dialogs inside the embed open in the middle of the embed area, so keep inline embeds on pages where the booking flow is near the top, or use the Book now button for long service lists.

Popup turns a link or button into a Book now button. Clicking it opens the flow in a window over your page. Keep the link address as shown in the snippet so visitors whose browsers block scripts still reach your booking page.

Adding the snippet to your site

WordPress: add a Custom HTML block where you want the booking flow and paste the snippet.

Squarespace: add a Code block and paste the snippet.

Wix: use the plain iframe snippet in an Embed HTML element. Wix wraps custom code in its own frame, so the automatic height does not reach the page. Set the height to a value that fits your longest step.

Plain HTML: paste the snippet anywhere inside the body of the page.

Paying inside an embed

Payment providers do not allow their checkout pages to load inside another site, so when a client reaches the payment step the checkout opens on its own page. After paying, the client lands on your Booklink confirmation page with the booking details and a link to manage it.

Branding on the free plan

Note

On the free plan the embed shows a small Powered by Booklink badge under the booking flow. The Pro plan removes it.

Open the embed on a specific service

With the inline or popup snippet, add data-service, data-cat or data-package to the element to open the embed on a specific service, category or package. With the plain iframe, add &service=, &cat= or &package= to the end of the address in src instead. The values match the query parameters on your normal booking links.
